Friends don’t lie, as Millie Bobby Brown is aware.
Because of this, the Stranger Things actress didn’t waste any time in letting fans know when to expect to see the fifth season of her popular Netflix series.
At a March 9 appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show, Millie was really asked if the final season of the Duffer Brothers franchise, which began filming in January, had concluded. She said, “No, we have nine months left.”
Even though nine months might not seem like a long time, the Damsel actress’ response does not imply that the series will launch on the streaming service in that time frame. As a matter of fact, fans will probably have to wait at least six more months for post-production to conclude, delaying the release date until at least mid-2025.
Although the announcement of a premiere date so far in the future may not excite fans—especially considering that the fourth season debuted in 2022—the 20-year-old, who plays Eleven in the show, has revealed some exciting insights about what to expect in the upcoming episode. Ultimately, Millie disclosed that the series finale will consist of eight episodes and mentioned that she is already aware of “what happens to my character.”
“I haven’t read the [last] script because they’re still in the process of writing them,” she said. “I think I’ve only read up to episode six.”
What additional spoilers exist for Stranger Things, though? Fans will have to search elsewhere, I guess.
“I really like Netflix,” said Millie, “and I’d like to be employed by them for a very long time.”
“I signed a piece of paper that says I’m not going to say anything, and I think I owe it to them to keep my mouth shut,” the founder of Florence by Mills continued.
